Opportunities abound, especially in the Twin Cities metro area, for those who wish to learn, play and perform traditional Irish music.  Instruction is available through the Center for Irish Music (www.centerforirishmusic.org) and from a variety of private teachers who are renowned for their skill and experience with the wide range of instruments commonly heard and seen during performances of Irish music, including the fiddle, tin whistle, flute, uilleann pipes, bodhran, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bouzuki, accordion, piano and harp.
