The Irish Music and Dance Association honored Gaelic harper Ann Heymann on Oct. 30 at the Titanic Lounge at Kieran’s in downtown Minneapolis. Green Tie Event
Fáilte Minnesota's Green Tie Event washeld at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis on November 21, 2009. Food, music and fun were provided! Proceeds from the event will help support the ongoing effort to secure a permanent site for the Minnesota Irish Cultural Center.
Emerald Society's Ron Ryan Jr. Memorial Charity Golf Tournament
The Ron Ryan Jr. Memorial Charity Golf Tournament, an annual event sponsored by the Emerald Society of Minnesota, was held on Monday, September 14th, at Tanner’s Brook Golf Course. Proceeds from the event will help support the Children's Program of Northern Ireland.
Irish Fair of Minnesota
Congratulations to the staff and volunteers of the Irish Fair of Minnesota (www.irishfair.com), which was held on Harriet Island in St. Paul between Friday, August 7 and Sunday, August 9. Despite intermittent rain and high humidity, it was (as always) a fun, well-attended, highly successful event!
